Ephraim Suhir is on the faculty of the Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, Technical University, Vienna, Austria, and James Cook University, Queensland, Australia. He is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA, is a Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 450+ publications (patents, technical papers, book chapters, books), presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide, and received many professional awards, including the 1996 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Reed Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline (Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems). Ephraim is the third Russian American, after S. Timoshenko and I. Sikorsky, who received this prestigious award. His most recent awards are the 2019 IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS) Field award for seminal contributions to mechanical reliability engineering and modeling of electronic and photonic packages and systems and 2019 Int. Microelectronic Packaging Society (IMAPS) Lifetime Achievement Award for making an exceptional, visible, and sustained impact on the microelectronics packaging industry and technology.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from the Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received Ph.D.- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post-doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as a research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became a professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67; following academic life of 45 years. He published over 60 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 100 conferences and symposia at an international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker, or Poster presenter. He served as the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in the last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker, and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries. Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019 and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches to 12 Virtual/Webinar Conferences in the first year of his retirement, 2020. Dr. Adiguzel served as his directorate of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University from 1999-2004. He supervised 5 Ph.D.- theses and 3 M.Sc theses. He is also a Technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of the significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates the cooperation of his group and interest in the Powder Diffraction File.

Professor Ramesh K. Agarwal is the William Palm Professor of Engineering and the director of Aerospace Engineering Program and Aerospace Research and Education Center at Washington University in St. Louis from 1994 to 200. He was the Sam Bloomfield Distinguished Professor and Executive Director of the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University. Dr. Agarwal received Ph.D in Aeronautical Sciences from Stanford University in 1975, M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 1968. Professor Agarwal has worked in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), renewable energy systems and nanotechnology. He is the author and coauthor of over 300 publications and serves on the editorial board of fifteen journals. Dr. Agarwal is a Fellow of fifteen societies including American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Physical Society (APS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Academy of Mechanics (AAM), and Institute of Physics. Dr Hany Helmy has received the Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, the Master of Applied Arts degree in the same University, and the Ph.D. degree from Helwan University in 2004, where he studied many courses in Dyeing technology. He worked as a Professor at Textile Research Division, National Research centre since 1995. He is specialized in preparation and application of natural dyes on cotton, wool and silk fabrics, which was the main subject of his Master and PhD thesis. He also supervised three theses about dyeing with natural and basic dyes using Ultrasonic energy. The new technology of ultrasonic energy was used for extraction of natural dyes and dyeing of synthetic fabrics for developing good fast colors. This is an eco-friendly trend, which has a good environmental impact on the society. He also worked in modification of different kinds of fabrics using plasma technique which consider as an environmentally friendly technique. He has about 31 papers published in international journals. In (2008 and 2013), he worked as a visiting scholar at College of Textiles, North Carolina State University, USA for 18 months. In 2012-2013, he also worked in teaching many textile courses (as a part time Professor) in many faculties; Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Damietta. In 2014-2016, he also taught another textile courses at Higher Institute of Applied Arts, New Cairo Academy. In 2017-2018, he also worked at Faculty of Arts & Design, October University for Modern Sciences & Arts (MSA).

Dr. Golsharifi career has spanned nanotechnology research, technology startup leadership, and scientific leadership of large companies. Over the past decade, Dr. Golsharifi has emerged as a recognized leader and innovator in energy storage and diamond electronics. Dr. Golsharifi latest research has focused on the development of a novel self-charging battery known as a nanodiamond battery (NDB). In this, Dr. Golsharifi has been very successful. Dr. Golsharifi has been widely recognized for this work by researchers around the world. The diamond battery has been featured in several recognizable and well-regarded industry and popular news publications such as Aviation Today, Popular Mechanics, Aviation International News, New Atlas, and The Daily Mail. Under Dr. Golsharifi’s leadership, NDB, Inc. also won the Orano Startup International Call Grand Prize for its innovation in energy storage.
